Project Purpose

The Division of Transit & Rail (DTR) is implementing the Colorado Transit Network as described in the 2015 Statewide Transit Plan and the 2014 Intercity and Regional Bus Network Plan. this project is one part of the implementation and rebranding of the rural regional intercity bus feeder network known as Bustang® Outrider. This particular project focuses on operating one daily round trip, using CDOT approved fare system and dry leased CDOT owned and assigned rolling stock, between Gunnison, CO and Denver, CO with intermediate stops along the corridor with a connecting station in Salida, CO as specified in Attachment C Statement of Work.
