Description

Douglas County is seeking a clinical provider to partner in the provision of clinical services for the Douglas County Mental Health Initiative (DCMHI) Community Response Teams. This co-responder model pairs a licensed clinician and a specially trained law enforcement officer to respond to active 911 calls with a primary behavioral health component. The team is supported by specialized response from local fire jurisdictions, who provide field medical clearance and allow patients needing direct placement to psychiatric services, to avoid the emergency department.
