The overall purpose of the Project is to mitigate and prevent further erosion of the southerly streambank upstream, adjacent and/or downstream of the mobile home park. This project will be awarded to a consulting team for planning and design of the improvements. The project will include: 1) hydrology and hydraulics, geomorphology, sediment transport (where necessary); 2) analysis of two or three appropriate alternatives for design given the site conditions and restoration potential; 3) execution of design for the Preferred Alternative, which includes engineered construction drawings that define the channel dimensions necessary for multi-stage flows (as appropriate), channel profile, channel alignment, floodplain alignment, and in-channel and floodplain structures, as well as an itemized estimate of costs; and supporting plans, including a draft planting plan, monitoring plan, permit plan, and a proposed timeline to move the project through final design and implementation.
