RFP #19-008 - Brighton Depot Plaza Design Services

The City of Brighton, Colorado by and through its Procurement & Contracts Division is soliciting written sealed proposals from qualified firms to perform design services for the Brighton Depot Plaza.  Architectural visioning has been completed previously that highlights the conceptual vision for the site and should be used as a basis for next steps.  The location of this plaza is a critical element in connecting the site to the Armory and the existing Library. The plaza is one that needs to respect the history of the Depot as well as facilitate and drive activity and a sense of place for patrons. Similarly, the City has spent significant resources in developing an urban downtown plaza approximately two blocks away.  The architectural cues and material selections need to transfer and relate to this site as well, thereby tying the two sites together. This project is funded in 2019 and construction should be completed by December 31, 2019.
