Description

Colorado Springs Utilities is seeking a qualified contractor that has experience in finished water tank construction and rehabilitation to perform construction services for Colorado Springs Utilities’ Austin Bluffs 10 MG Tank Interior Structural Repairs project. Construction services will be required as outlined below:

Remove the existing roof membrane above the precase double-tee panels and replace with a 90-mil EPDM Roof Membrane System.
Seal all deteriorated roof joints between adjacent double-tee roof panels
Repair any damaged grout above beams
Grout patch double-tee roof panels and beams with exposed prestressing steel at supports
Weld double-tee roof panel support angles along the north and south walls at locations with less than 2 inches bearing on the wall
Grout patch flange of double-tee near roof in southwest corner of tank
Patch exposed reinforcing in wall at the southwest corner of tank
Epoxy inject vertical cracking in walls around tank
