Description

The City of Aspen Recreation department plans to replace the existing score board and timing system used for competitive swim meets and water polo matches. The successful bidder will provide the new system, installation and training, and remove and properly dispose of the old system.

The new system must meet, at a minimum, the following specifications:

Score Board

Full color LED display ideal for aquatic natatoriums.
Must fit within the current foot print, 7’ x 10’
Display system must come with a computer controller system.
Must have the ability to display graphics and video 16 bits.
Must be compatible with Microsoft Windows applications.

Timing System

Must include multi-sport capabilities for swimming, diving and water polo competitions.
The timing system must have 7 touch pads, cables and harnesses for competition timing.
Must have a starting system with wired microphones, strobe lights, cables and tripods.
Must have pace clock component technologies.

Work must be scheduled with City staff and work around events taking place at the Aspen Recreation Center. Work must be completed by June 1, 2018.

Bids must be submitted on the City’s Bid Proposal form and include the manufacturer’s information/specifications and warranty information attached. All cost must be included.

Bids must be submitted electronically through the Bidnet Direct website before 2:00pm, April 11, 2018, and be compiled into a single PDF or Word document. The document must be named “2018-50795 by XYZ company”.
