Pitkin County will accept qualifications and bid proposals electronically from interested parties for the Runway and Taxiway Pavement Maintenance capital improvement project at Aspen/Pitkin County Airport, located at 0233 E Airport Road, Aspen, CO 81611.
Pitkin County anticipates funding for Schedule 1 (or Schedule 1 – Alternate 1) of the contract resulting from this RFP all or in part through Colorado Department of Transportation grant funds issued by the CDOT Division of Aeronautics. All other Schedules will be funded solely through Pitkin County funds.

Prime contractors and major sub-contractors are strongly urged to attend the voluntary Pre-Bid conference. The Pre-Bid conference will be held Friday, July 17th at 2:00 PM MT at the Aspen/Pitkin County Airport Operations Center at 1001 Owl Creek Rd, Aspen, CO 81611. Immediately following the meeting, a tour of the project site will be conducted, weather permitting. Should congregating restrictions be in place on the set date of the conference, all plan holders will be e-mailed a teleconference invitation.
