IFB 2017-15 - 2018 Wilcox Concrete Pavement Restoration Project

The work to be performed under this contract includes removal and replacement of existing concrete including concrete pavement, concrete crosswalks, crosspan, sidewalk, curb and gutter, diamond grinding of existing surface, and the removal and replacement of existing joint sealant within the street listed in the Appendices or as directed by the Project Manager. The Contractor shall supply all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the work in accordance with these specifications. The contract shall be awarded based on the bids received and the contract documents. Contractor will be required to coordinate construction activities with adjacent businesses, trash removal companies, school district, HOA, Metro Districts, and other Town projects if applicable. Contractor shall acquire all agreements, permits, and insurance as necessary to allow work within CDOT’s R.O.W. at the Wilcox Street and Wolfensberger Road. The contractor shall commence work no later than ten (10) calendar days from, and including, the date of the Notice to Proceed, and be construction complete (including punchlist items, cleanup, and demobilize) within forty five (45) working days from the date on the Notice to Proceed. All concrete repairs shall take place between April, 2018 and May, 2018. Concrete grinding and joint sealing shall take place as soon as possible behind concrete repairs, and shall be done at night between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. Sunday night through Friday morning.
