Description

Evergreen Fire/Rescue is offering for sale a 1974 Kenworth with the following specifications:

8V – 71 Detroit Diesel engine 350hp / 965tq turbo/blower.
Allison HT 740DRD trans, very low 1rst gear option
Telma electromagnetic and Jacobs compression brake
Darley 500 gpm pump
Rockwell SQHD rear axles 40,000# 4.66:1 ratio
Rockwell front axle 16,000#
Steel/aluminum body
3000 gallon UPF water tank new 2003
10” x 10” Newton dump valve
207” WB / 120” CA

The engine was completely overhauled in 1989 at 17,041 miles. The accrued engine miles are 36,415. Maintenance records are available to include with the purchase. The current odometer is 26,536. The truck will be sold in “as is” condition. Buyer must arrange for delivery of the vehicle to its location. Payment must be final prior to the removal of the truck from its current location.
The reserve bid is $15,000. Evergreen Fire/Rescue reserves the right to refuse any /all bids. Final bid will be awarded based on best value to the district. Final purchase must be approved by the Evergreen Fire Protection District Board of Directors at a regularly scheduled meeting.
