The North Front Range Transportatin & Air Quality Planning Council (NFRMPO) is requesting proposals from qualified firms of certified public accounts to audit its financial statements for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2016, with a renewal options, at the MPO's discretion, for each of the four subsequent fiscal years. These audits are to be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards, the standards set forth for financial audits in the General Accounting offices's (GAO) Government Auditing Standards,, the provisions of the federal Singel Audit Act of 1984 and Title 2 of the Code of Federal Regulations, if required. Such audits shall also be in accordance with the State of Colorado Local Government Audit Law.
