Soil Vapor Mitigation (Cedar Gardens)

Vapor barrier installation – Install contiguous 10mm vapor barrier throughout crawlspaces where existing vapor barrier does not cover. Patch and repair existing vapor barrier to ensure air tightness.
Ventilation system fans – Install fans, duct work, and all other necessary steps to adequately exhaust soil vapor outside of the crawlspace. Ventilation piping run locations must be confirmed with Owner.
Access hatch replacement – Replace existing indoor and outdoor crawlspace access hatches with durable, air tight materials. Design and type of access hatch must be approved by owner.
