Arapahoe County School District No. 6, Littleton Public Schools (the District), is soliciting “Statements of Qualifications” (SOQ) from architectural firms interested in providing professional design services for work under its 2019 Program. The District will issue additional RFQs for other professional services (e.g.: surveying, geotechnical, materials testing) and for contractors after January 2019. The projects include new construction, site improvements and building additions, remodeling and infrastructure/systems upgrades, which are to be completed in phases over the next five years. Statements of Qualifications received in response to this RFQ will be used by the District to begin selection of design consultants whose teams will work with appropriate District technical and site staff to plan, document and administer construction contracts for single or multiple project packages over the duration of the Program, as well as a number of site improvement and specialty construction projects to be done separately in the first three years. The District expects to complete major packages under CM/GC contracts to be negotiated with pre-qualified firms once Schematic Designs are completed; smaller and sitework packages will be competitively bid to pre-qualified general or specialty suppliers/contractors. All work will be coordinated by an LPS Program Management Team (PMT) and a Program/Project Management consultant. The largest portion of the work will be new construction and the renovation of a District property, and will require a full range of design disciplines; however, there are a significant number of smaller packages that will be more effectively lead by a specialized design or engineering discipline.Arapahoe County School District No. 6, Littleton Public Schools (the District), is soliciting “Statements of Qualifications” (SOQ) from architectural firms interested in providing professional design services for work under its 2019 Program.
