Description

The Board is soliciting Proposals for 39% Liquid Ammonium Sulfate (LAS) for use in the water treatment process. The Board is switching from Aqua Ammonia at our water treatment plants to Liquid Ammonia Sulfate at the Foothill Water Treatment Plant, the Marston Water Treatment Plant and the Moffat Water Treatment Plant. The LAS shall meet the requirements of ANSI/AWWA Standard Specification No. B302-16 of the latest revision and shall be certified as meeting ANSI/NSF Standard 60: Drinking Water Treatment Chemicals – Health Effects. The selected Proposer is hereafter referred to as Contractor.
