504277 - Crane Rental and Operation Services

Denver Water is soliciting proposals for Crane Rental and Operation Services ("Work") on an as needed basis for planned and unplanned emergency work within Denver Water’s service area (see attached Exhibit C – Combined Service Area) including outlying mountain facilities. Denver Water uses crane rental services to lift heavy equipment and assist with various projects within Denver Water’s Operations and Maintenance and Source of Supply departments. Such projects include but are not limited to lifting and installing new manholes, installing new vaults to house various pipe controls, installing shoring boxes in trenches, and to assist in various inspections at Denver Water’s outlying facilities, some of which are in remote areas. As such, all terrain or rough terrain cranes may be required to effectively operate and complete the required job at outlying facilities. Crane rental services allow for Denver Water to perform these duties in a safe and effective way.
