ISS210146 - Solid State Vexlum Laser

The Physics Department at Colorado State University intends to purchase a state-of-the-art solid-state, low-noise (frequency and intensity), high-power  (>1.5W) IR laser system operating at 1252 nm that will act as the fundamental laser for fourth-harmonic UV wavelength generation at 313 nm to support research focused on ion trapping experiments that require low-noise UV laser systems for laser cooling, detection, and quantum manipulation of trapped ions. The purchase from Vexlum Oy, Ltd is a complete system including control electronics, chiller and on-site installation.
