Colorado State University is seeking bids from Qualified Contractors to provide labor, materials, and equipment for the cleaning and restoration of the inside of approximately 150 lineal feet of 12 inch diameter water supply piping at our Engineering Research Center on the Foothills campus. The pipe is heavily corroded and must be flushed, dried, and abrasively cleaned to a near-white metal finish. Once the pipe is in the proper state, an in situ, NSF 61, class 3 or higher lining, which complies with AWWA M-28, shall be installed. CCTV inspection, testing, and any necessary cleaning shall be performed before pipe is returned to service.
Exclusions: Bidding contractors will not be responsible for the following to be provided by others: Two access points (one at valve in underfloor water storage tunnel, one excavated outside of the facility at the connection to the main line.), pipe removal and repair for access, excavation/backfill, and surface restoration.
