RFP-GM143160 - Nixon Unit #1/Project: Nixon Coal Dust Collector #1 Remove and Replace

The Work described in section 4.0 includes the deinstallation, demolition and replacement of DC1.  Contractor shall provide a complete, operable Dust Collection System, designed, manufactured, installed, and commissioned to meet all applicable industry standards and recommended best practices, including NFPA 654, 2017 edition, Standard for the Prevention of Fire and Dust Explosions from the Manufacturing, Processing, and Handling of Combustible Particulate Solids, and PRB Coal User’s group recommended practices. When complete the new collector will be fully operational and performing the function for which it was designed. The new dust collection system shall be located on the east side of the coal pile, near the top of the reclaim tunnel.  The new dust collection system shall meet or exceed the specifications of the existing DC1 system.
