Mines is looking to purchase the following: (a) a closed cycle cryostat containing a 12 T magnet, (b) a magnetic force microscope, (c) an insert for electrical transport measurements (probe with wires), and a (d) Nanonis Tramea quantum transport measurement module (for sourcing and measuring electrical signals). The Attocube system is the only closed-cycle cryostat that allows for high resolution scanning probe microscopy (SPM). No other cryostat is dry and has low enough noise specs to host SPM measurements.
