CMC’s Spring Valley Campus located at 3000 Rd. #114, Glenwood Springs, CO is requesting quotes from qualified firms and/or individuals for a Compost Power Screen.
Compost Screen minimum specifications:
• Double screen deck with end tensioned screens
o 2 x 2 inch screen
o ¾ x 2 inch woven bottom screen
• The portable vibratory screen shall be a non-hydraulic vibratory screen-shaft drive
• 10 hsp diesel air cooled engine
o 10 hp min in lockable compartment
o Dual stage air filter system
o Electric start
o Hour meter
o Automatic shut down for low oil and high temp.
• Screen plan must be finished with a thermal set TGIC polyester powder coat
• 6’x 5’ screen box driven mechanically without the use of hydraulics
• Direct Drive with centrifugal clutch
• Counter balance on both sides of screens
• The infeed hopper of the screening plant must be capable of accepting loaders from ½ -1 ¾ yards
• Screen plant must be capable of interchanging from end tensioned woven screens to end tensioned harp/piano wire screens in no more than 1 hour
• Screen plant must be configured so it can easily be securely mounted on concrete “jersey” barrier blocks
• Screen plant must have a removable support bar to allow for quick placing and repositioning
• Deliverable within 30 days of signed contract
• Operational and maintenance manual
• Screen plant must carry a two(2) year parts and labor warranty
