Description

The City is soliciting proposals to purchase and implement all the necessary services for Upstream Connectivity (Internet) for an FTTP Broadband Network. It is the intent of the City to provide FTTP services to each residence and business in the community through a phased network construction program that began November 2019 and will be completed in 2023-2024. The City will reserve the right to purchase any, all, or none of the services that are solicited in this RFP. Proposals must be submitted in accordance with the conditions outlined in this Request for Proposals (RFP).
It is the City’s intention to contract with one upstream provider but respondents may partner as necessary to provide a full solution. The City has already established one partnership for upstream connectivity and are looking for a second redundant connection.
