423024 - Longmont Targeted Engagement and Referral Effort (LTHERE)

the Purpose or Goals of the LTHERE program are to:

1. Build relationships with people experiencing homelessness to aid existing outreach efforts and to support service linkage with local providers.
2. Build collaborative relationships with local government and other key providers throughout City of Longmont to help notify the appropriate party(ies) to the development of encampments and/or people living in their sleeper vehicles and communicating impending closures to encampment residents and/or enforcement efforts to people living in their sleeper vehicles.
3. Promote compliance with ordinances and encourage “good community member” behavior.
4. Encourage compliance with public health orders.
5. Expand the City’s capacity to address long-term housing insecurities and services for unhoused persons.
