The scope of the project basically includes asbestos abatement and demolition of two brick cottage school buildings. Removal and disposal of asbestos containing materials includes approximately 5886 SF of floor tile, 439 LF of exterior door/window caulk, 21,390 SF of drywall joint compound, glazing on 19 windows (120 Cody St only), 1740 LF of cove base mastic and 1600 SF of ceiling tile mastic (basement of 120 S. Cody St.).
Following asbestos abatement the work includes utility disconnects, the demolition of two, 1-story with basement brick cottage school buildings (1650 SF); salvage and recycling of materials as defined by City Demolition Waste Management Plan requirements; and legal disposal of all waste building materials.
The project is to be completed within Ninety (90) calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed.
