The City holds a utility easement across real property that may or may not have mineral deposits of economic value. Some of the property’s owners have sought partition of the property. The City Attorney’s Office is soliciting proposals from qualified law firms and attorneys to consult regarding the partition and any subsequent related action. The firm selected must have substantial experience in mineral rights, partition actions, and real estate transactions in general. The firm selected will work under the control and direction of the Colorado Springs’ City Attorney’s Office.
