The City of Colorado Springs requests Firm Fixed Price (FFP) quotes, as detailed in this Request for Quote (RFQ), for Network Equipment Refresh.
EQUIPMENT SHALL BE NEW: The City will only consider new Cisco Certified Equipment. All equipment must be certified to factory specifications, tested, eligible for Cisco Smartnet support and carry a standard warranty. All serial numbers are subject to validation by Cisco before final product acceptance to determine if the product is Cisco authorized equipment. The City shall be the sole judge of equality or similarity and its decision shall be final in its best interest.
THIRD PARTY PARTS OR COMPONENT ARE NOT ALLOWED: The successful Bidder must guarantee that City is receiving authentic OEM equipment. Third-party parts or components will not be accepted. In the event that products are sourced from outside authorized Cisco channels (such as secondhand, third-party, or even counterfeit products), the City will terminate the contract with Bidder. The City will not accept shipments of any or all equipment that is shipped with invalid warranties, invalid software licenses, no support entitlement, and/or incorrect product configurations that are found to be sourced from outside authorized Cisco channels. Should inferior or third-party parts be received, return shipping costs will be at the expense of the vendor.
