Description

The City of Aurora is planning, during the fall of 2019, to make repairs to the Rocky Ford Diversion Dam Structure. The existing dam is constructed of staggered wood planks stacked on top of a wood plank apron, pinned in place, and attached to wood pilings. The construction season is limited due to the runoff on the Arkansas River. The successful contractor will be required to purchase and have materials ready for construction by mid-October 2019. Construction activities are limited from November 15, 2019 to the end of February 2020. Contractor shall be ready to start work November 15, 2019 if weather permits.
