IFB-SS-2020.713 - 2020 FUGITIVE DUST CHLORIDE ABATEMENT

The Adams County Board of County Commissioners by and through its Purchasing Division of the Finance Department is accepting bids for 2020 FUGITIVE DUST CHLORIDE ABATEMENT.

1. BACKGROUND: The Supplier shall furnish all chloride blended fugitive dust control material to include freight, equipment and labor incidental to fulfill all material orders and apply products described in the Attachment A. – Scope of Work for products described in the solicitation. The selection of the materials and equipment for all products shall be in accordance and adhered to any and all Federal, State and Local laws applicable to the products being provided by Supplier.
2. MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS:  The anticipated program valuation: 

• 256,000 gals. Contractor Chloride 80/20 blend
• 84,000 gals. County Applies 80/20 blend

1. TERM OF AGREEMENT:
   This agreement may be renewed annually for up to FOUR (4) additional one (1) year periods if mutually agreed upon by the County and the Supplier. Pricing and specifications changes, if any, shall be negotiated by, and agreed upon by, both parties. Renewal pricing must be submitted by the Contractor to the County sixty days (60) prior to the original Agreement Termination date.
2. Continuation of the Agreement beyond the initial period is a County prerogative and not a right of the Contractor. This prerogative will be exercised only when such continuation is clearly in the best interest of the County and upon budget approval.
