Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) Develop and submit a scope-of-work (work plan- to be submitted with proposal) for City review and approval prior to beginning work. 2) Mobilize to the site and conduct the disinfection process including neutralization and disposal of process waters. 3) Obtain water samples, submit for laboratory analysis of bacteria, and present results demonstrating project disinfection objective. The Consultant shall take initial samples following treatment, and a second set two weeks after completion. If the samples indicate that the bacteria has re-bounded then the consultant shall repeat the disinfection process at no cost to the City. 4) Manage all process water disposal in accordance with all applicable regulations and laws 5) Perform all project services in coordination with and under the supervision of the City’s assigned project manager • Perform disinfection of the treatment system (all four vessels and associated piping) in general conformance with: o The “Wellhead Treatment Operations Plan, Well 3C”, Section 4.7 (AECOM, May 2017, see ATTACHMENT 3.) The actual methods used are up to the consultant subject to preapproval from the City. o American Water Works Association standards for Disinfection of Water treatment Plants (AWWA C653-97 or latest version) • Confirmation sampling protocols shall consist of: o Samples sets from: Well 3C source water, effluent samples from each of the 4 vessels, combined system effluent (six total comprising each set) o Analyses to include HPC and total coliform o State certified laboratory to be used
