Specifications include, but are not limited to: This Task Order is to solicit consultant proposals for two separate parts. Part 1 is to Identify opportunities and strategies to improve the City’s CRS rating to lower flood insurance costs for residents. Part 2 is to implement the Floodplain Management Planning (FMP) elements as outlined in the Activity 510 of 2017 CRS manual with the goal to receive maximum credits. There are three elements under Activity 510, they are Floodplain Management Planning (FMP), Repetitive Loss Area Analysis (RLAA) and Natural Floodplain Functions Plan (NFP). The City of LA is currently classified as Category C repetitive loss community with 50 or more repetitive loss properties. Therefore, it is required to prepare either a FMP or RLAA area analysis that covers at least all of its repetitive loss areas.
