Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.1.1 Deliver high quality contract systems staff to assist on projects that meet the following criteria: Temporary information technology projects of a limited duration which do not justify the addition of permanent staff; and/or Require unique skills not possessed by available City staff; and/or Projects that are of an urgent or time sensitive nature. 1.1.2 Ensure Staff Provided Meets LADBS’ Needs The selected firm(s) must demonstrate that they have the ability to provide immediate temporary assistance that can provide the following services: Utilize specialized software and transfer/disseminate detailed implementation knowledge to LADBS staff in the use of specialized software and/or hardware. Be proficient in technical areas that could include use of application development tools, expert software, data administration, project management, quality assurance, server development methodologies, local area network (LAN), network security, and in writing technical and user documents. Create, update, and temporarily maintain various LADBS systems and related documentation. Firms must also demonstrate the ability to prescreen potential contract staff to determine their suitability for referral to LADBS.
