Specifications include, but are not limited to: The System Architect (Contractor) shall protect CalSTRS’ best interests by working and collaborating closely with the CalSTRS’ project management team and a third-party vendor to ensure that the thirdparty vendor has done their due diligence in managing the project and producing project deliverables and artifacts that meet CalSTRS’ quality expectations in a timely manner. The Contractor defines, analyzes and assists with the implementation of the architecture of a computerized system (i.e., a system composed of software and hardware) in order to fulfill business and technical requirements. The Contractor shall report directly to the Pension Solution Technical Manager or designee and may be assigned to one or more teams/programs/projects during the total services period. All work must be performed on-site at the CalSTRS headquarters facility in West Sacramento, CA, unless pre-approved in writing by CalSTRS management. All deliverables and services will be provided in a diligent, professional, competent, and timely manner.
