Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. One full-court basketball court and one volleyball court share one common playing surface measuring approximately~11,072 sq. ft. in area. Both courts are enclosed by chain-link fencing with gates. (See Figures 1 & 2.) b. Existing basketball court measures approximately~7,072 sq ft. in area (104 ft. x 68 ft.), and the volleyball court measures approximately~4,000 sq. ft. in area (80 ft. x50 ft.). c. Access to the courts is up a driveway and parking lot above States Street. d. The following resurfacing method will be accepted: Petromat method 1. Petromat method: i. Fill existing large cracks and gaps with asphalt. ii. Install geotextile petromat per manufacturers recommendations. The general steps are listed below: • Clean surface and apply hot crack asphalt sealant to any gaps and cracks. • Remove existing sealant material from large gaps in courts and fill with hot crack asphalt to the level of the existing court surface. • Apply SS-1 Tack Oil evenly across court. • Lay at least 1 layer of geotextile petromat over the entire area. Petromat fabric shall be “Mirafi”, or approved equal. • Furnish and compact new 2” hot mix asphalt in one lift on top of petromat
