Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Mobilize equipment and personnel to site. Access needs to be arranged with City staff. There are two routes to the dam, one that goes around the mountains by way of Route 154 and Paradise Rd., the other goes up and over the mountains by way of Gibraltar Rd and the Forest Service roads. Both are available under current conditions. There are locked gates that will need to be opened by City staff. 2. Using a gasoline powered, portable pump, draw water directly from the lake by lowering the intake piping/hose from the top of the dam and into the water. 3. Attach that water supply to a high pressure pump/washer assembly with a maximum of 5,000 psi output. Care shall be taken by the workers to not damage the concrete surface with the pressure wash. The objective is to remove the vegetation and silt to be able to examine the concrete spillways. The pressure washer must have sufficient hose length to reach from the top of the dam to the top and bottom of each spillway. It is anticipated that the equipment may need to be re-positioned as the work proceeds from one spillway chute to the next.
