Specifications include, but are not limited to: Upgrading approximately 24,000 SF of existing space on the 2nd floor of the Merle Norman Pavilion which includes the post-partum unit, support service rooms, service areas, circulation areas, well-baby nursery, and doctor’s sleep rooms. The scope of work will include interior finish upgrades for floors, walls and ceilings, lighting fixtures, furniture, FF&E, and other interior improvements. The scope of work may also include patient room enhancements, staff and patient workflow adjustments, structural and MEP upgrades, and other interior improvements based on code requirements. Construction cost for the SMUMC MNP 2nd Floor Improvements is to-be-determined, but is anticipated not to exceed $8 million, pending further study.
