Specifications include, but are not limited to: Exterior Public Appearance Lobby Remodel Facility Improvements: The goal is to make the front entry more appealing and obvious to visitors. A. Exterior Public Appearance • Provide and install a 6'x4' monument sign in public parking area (material- stone, concrete, or stucco) • Remove last window on front wall and cover opening for mounting of signage. • Provide and install lightweight acrylic signage (approximately 4'x4') to building façade. • Install a glass entry door in existing opening. (Will require new frame and casing) • Remove and replace landscaping in planter area against entry/façade. • Use drought resistant, low maintenance vegetation. • Remove two bushes that border walkway. B. Lobby Remodel • Cut a transaction window (approximately 3'x4') in existing CMU (brick/block) wall. • Install security glass with a pass-through and speak-hole for public transactions. • Install transaction counter to meet ADA height requirement. • Remove existing door with sidelights and replace with 36"metal door. (Will require new frame and casing) • Remove non-loadbearing walls of current transaction area. • Incorporate current transactions area into the station's interior office area. • Add electrical outlet and a light switch for ceiling mounted light fixture. • Furnish and install light fixture. • Move or safe-off any affected electrical outlets in project area. • Paint and patch entire lobby area with new color scheme (Colors to be determined). • Paint and patch affected office area to match existing. • Install new commercial carpet in lobby area. (Contractor to provide carpet selection)
