Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Remove any loose, chipped or spalled concrete. Remove any damaged or loose joint caulking. 2. Pressure wash and scrub the walls with a hard bristle brush using the SureCoat HD Concrete Cleaner. Let dry. 3. Any exposed rusted rebar is to be coated with rusty metal primer prior to patching. 4. Patch holes and chipped areas with concrete patching cement. 5. SS-1007 Deep Penetrating Concrete Sealer - Shake well before using. Do not dilute or alter. Apply from top to bottom to point of refusal (full saturation). Apply SS1007 in multicoat applications using a low pressure sprayer (Hudson Sprayer) with a fan-type nozzle. After the first coat has soaked in, immediately apply the 2nd coat. Apply only as much material as the surface will readily absorb. Areas that absorb sealer at a faster rate will require additional coats. Avoid over-application and puddling. 6. SS-1007 Final Step – Approximately 30-40 minutes after the last application of the SS1007 apply a light coat of potable water. SS-1007 must be allowed to cure for a minimum 24 hours or as needed for proper cure before the SS-5000 Topical Sealer application. 7. SS-5000 - Shake SS-5000 well before using. Do not dilute or alter. 8. Apply from top down using a low-pressure sprayer (Hudson Sprayer) with a fan-type nozzle. Flood surface until excess product runs down 6-8 inches below spray or roller pattern. A wet-on-wet re-application within 2-3 minutes is recommended for maximum coverage. Caution: Avoid over application or ponding as may cause darkening of surface; brush or broom to spread to more porous area. 9. SS-5000 should be dry to the touch (within 2-6 hours) depending on the temperature and humidity at time of application. 10. Apply new urethane caulking at joints.
