Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Recyclable metals (material) referred to in this Agreement include, but are not limited to, aluminum (non-California Redemption Value (CRV)) and miscellaneous scrap metals. 1) Contractor shall remove accumulated scrap metal from the two Maintenance Stations and/or accept deliveries from Caltrans’ drivers. 2) Contractor shall transport scrap to a certified recycling center properly licensed by State, City, and County ordinances 3) Contractor shall return to Caltrans the Percentage of earnings collected from the scrap metal’s sale per Bid Proposal (Attachment 1). B. Contractor shall deliver scrap metal containers at no cost to Caltrans that are of a size that is mutually agreed upon by the Contractor and the Caltrans Contract Manager, for the recyclable metals. All containers shall have steel wheels that allow them to roll, when needed. Contractor shall deliver container(s) to the site designated by the Caltrans Contract Manager prior to commencement of services. The location of container(s) may change at the discretion of the Caltrans Contract Manager at any time. In the event any container becomes damaged, the Contractor shall repair or replace container within 48 hours of notification.
