Specifications include, but are not limited to: Development and operation of a supported living agency with expertise in working with consumers who have challenging behaviors will include a service design with emphasis placed on the evidence based practices in service delivery for behavioral challenges/conditions including but not limited to Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). Training should be sought from experts in the field. Local team (Crisis Response Team) approaches must be a component of problem solving. Consumers with challenged behavior(s) and/or conditions will receive services and support in their own home and home community. The agency will be expected to develop personal support and training/habilitation services which incorporate serving specific consumers, focus on strategies to successfully enable the consumer to maintain their chosen living arrangement, implement adaptations for support and training which are mutually favorable to effectively address behavioral challenges/conditions, reduce and/or eliminate the behavioral challenges of a consumer which limit full inclusion and/or restrict full participation in the community.
