Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City is in the process of acquiring an estimated 4,456 SCE-owned HPS LS-1 streetlights of various lumens (see Exhibit A). The City received approval from the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) for the acquisition on September 29, 2017 and desires to secure a vendor for streetlight maintenance services to act in conjunction with the phased transfer of streetlight ownership. The selected vendor will be responsible for the maintenance of the existing streetlight system during the transition phase. The City is anticipating two phases from SCE. Additionally, the vendor will be responsible for onsite verification and labeling of the streetlight infrastructure with SCE as each phase is turned over to the City. Finally, the City is seeking LED replacement funding from SCE. If the proposed schedule accommodates the limited funding period, the vendor may pilot, then fully install LED retrofit fixtures on all of the transferred streetlights. Post retrofit, maintenance services will continue through the final required warranty period. The City’s decision to proceed with the LED retrofit is contingent upon the availability of SCE funded incentives.
