Specifications include, but are not limited to:The City is requesting information from qualified individuals and firms capable of providing the following services: 1) Become an approved representative payee – Acquire approval from the Social Security Administration to provide these services to beneficiaries. 2) Demonstrate institutional capacity – Prove to the City that your organization is able to handle the population type and size involved, as well as the type and scope of services required. 3) Create clear guidelines around acceptable behavior – Provide well-defined parameters about which behaviors are and are not acceptable for clients to engage in on site and within the context of the payee relationship. 4) Establish the option for clients to meet face-to-face regularly for payee services – Offer clients the opportunity to meet with a member of your staff at least once each month, and more frequently as needed. 5) Coordinate service delivery with BMH – Regularly communicate with BMH about client needs and experiences. Change practices based on feedback from BMH.
