Specifications include, but are not limited to: Description Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro/LACMTA) has established a contracting opportunity to provide construction services to connect the Metro Crenshaw / Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) Fairview Heights Station (currently under construction), with the Los Angeles River, via a new multi-use transportation corridor for bicyclists and pedestrians, improving multimodal connectivity in historically disadvantaged communities in South Los Angeles. The Rail-to-Rail Active Transportation Corridor (ATC) spans approximately 5.6 miles in a general east-west direction connecting the future Metro Fairview Heights Station to the Metro Blue Line Slauson Station. Approximately 5 miles of the ATC will be on Metro-owned Right-Of-Way (Class 1 bicycle path), while the remainder will be on public Right of Way (ROW). The resultant Contract, if awarded, will be federally and state/locally funded, and is subject to fiscal year funding. The estimated Contract value is $35 - $40 Million.
