Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City is seeking the services of a qualified contractor to provide routine pool maintenance and repair services for swimming pools, pool heaters and water feature. Contractor shall provide labor, chemicals, parts and materials to provide the level of maintenance as required by the City. Service Calls, as specified in Exhibit D - Special Provisions shall include: 1. Manual and chemical controller reading, free, combined, and total chlorine readings, pH readings as well as manual reading for total alkalinity, overall circulation system flow rate, filter inlet and outlet pressures, pool water temperature, auto fill operation, pump strainer cleaning, chemical system controller review, test chemical system rotary safety flow switch, chemical injection system review for leaks and potential problems, logging of all information, filter backwashing as pressures and flow dictates; 2. Bi-Weekly (Monday and Thursday) checks must include calcium hardness and total dissolved solids tests. 3. Manual vacuuming and brushing walls of each pool are required two times per week to ensure the pools are clean at all times. Contractor and the City will work out a schedule to ensure the pool is closed to swimmers so cleanings can be performed. Cleaning will take place Monday through Friday between 6:00 am and 8:00 am. 4. Contractor shall supply its own manual pool vacuum system and cleaning equipment and maintained in good condition by Contractor. City supplied automatic pool cleaning equipment is to be used by City staff only unless approved for use by contractor in writing by Facilities Supervisor or designee. 5. Record pool readings, and chemical use, as well as any other pertinent information for each service call/visit. MONTHLY SERVICES Lubricate the pool level controller Clean deck depth marker tiles and step tiles Inspect pool areas for potential issues Sweep and clean equipment rooms Change the pool heater air filters Fire heaters and check the inlet and outlet temperatures, deltas, and error logs for any issues Inform City of any heater issues prior to repair Clean chemical injectors and sensors
