Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Ontario Police Department (OPD) is seeking bids for purchase and alteration services for police uniforms, accessories, and miscellaneous equipment on an as-needed basis in accordance with the specifications, terms, and conditions of this bid. The Ontario Police Department provides uniforms for both civilian and sworn employees, including but not limited, to Police Officers, Community Services Officers, Forensic Specialists, Dispatchers, Cadets, Explorers, and Volunteers. Staff may be required to obtain uniforms and alteration services while on-duty and therefore staff must be able to return promptly to the City to meet the public safety needs of the Police Department and citizens of Ontario. Therefore, the bidder’s retail outlet from which such purchase and alteration services are provided shall be located within a radius of ten (10) miles from the Ontario Police Department main station, located at 2500 S. Archibald Avenue, Ontario, CA 91761 (as measured using commonly used web-based mapping services such as Google Maps or Bing Maps.)The selected Bidder(s) shall provide uniform and alterations services on an as-needed basis for the period between October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2023.
