Specifications include, but are not limited to: Bidders shall base their bid for the loading, hauling and disposing of citric acid waste in the estimated annual quantities above on a dollar per gallon basis. It is the intent of these specification, terms and conditions to describe emergency and non-emergency pickup and disposal of citric waste services required by City of Stockton’s Delta Water Treatment Plant. City intends to award a five-year contract bidder selected as the lowest responsive and responsible bidder meeting City’s requirements. The successful Contractor shall be required to pick up, transport and properly dispose of regularly occurring citric acid waste accumulated in the course of the conduct of business at City of Stockton’s Delta Water Treatment Plant. The Citric Acid Waste is neutralized with a pH range from 6.0 – 8.0. The estimated annual waste is 500,000 gallons. The onsite holding tank capacity is 10,000 gallons.
