Specifications include, but are not limited to: In keeping with California state regulations to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and to integrate sustainability into the transportation planning process, Norwalk Transit System (NTS) is expanding its fleet with zero emission buses and infrastructure. NTS was recently awarded funds from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) to purchase zero emission battery-electric buses to expand its fleet with new battery-electric vehicles that will help service Route 7. With the recent awarded funds for electric buses, NTS needs project management services to provide support as it electrifies the fleet to meet future regulations. The successful consultant shall collaborate with City, NTS staff, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) contractors, charging station contractors, and Utilities to ensure that NTS is successful transitioning to all electric bus fleet.
