Specifications include, but are not limited to: DIMENSIONS Metal Outer Frame: Approximately 32"W x 34"D x 47"H Load Height: 10 inches. LOAD CAPACITY: Self-Weight of Mixer: 440 lbs. Comment by Garduno, Rodolfo: Added the Self-Weight of the mixer on the Load Capacity section to keep all load-related information in one single section. Also added the total weight. Material Capacity: Up to 125 lbs. Total Weight: 565 lbs. MIXER FEATURES: Comment by Garduno, Rodolfo: A Mixer Feature was added to go into the details of the mixer. The Accessories Section was implemented into the Mixer Features. Mixing Unit shall come enclosed within a Metal Outer Frame (Shroud). This Shroud shall enclose the entire Mixing Unit to maximize safety in the event the material escapes the container. The Shroud shall have a Weldment Door located in front of the mixing unit. The door shall have a proper handle to open and slide the door in an upward fashion towards the back of the unit. The door shall be in a closed position at about ten inches (10”) from the ground to allow for easy loading. The unit shall also have a roller located at the Base of the unit where the Door sits during a closed position. This is to allow for the mixing container to easily enter and leave the mixing unit. The unit shall have four (4) legs, one (1) on each corner of the frame. The two (2) legs facing the front of the machine shall have a non-skid foot that will keep the unit in place during the mixing process. The back two (legs) shall have a foot that adjusts the height of the unit. A Control Panel shall be located at the top of the unit for the safety of the operator. The panel shall include an Emergency Push button, a Breaker switch, a Digital Display, Time Cycle buttons and a Stop Cycle button. The functions of these buttons will be later explained in the spec. Mixing Unit shall have a Rotating Frame that allows for the material container to be clamped and mixed. The frame shall have a back-support for the mixing containers to ensure container does not flip towards the back of the machine. The back-support shall have the necessary holes for connections located on the back of the mixing unit. The frame shall have an extractor arm for improved extraction of the container after the mixing process is done. The frame shall have a top and bottom plate for the container to be positioned. The top plate shall be connected to a Crank Handle Retention Mechanism. This mechanism shall allow for the top plate to be adjustable for different container sizes. Only the top plate shall be adjustable. Units that adjust from the bottom plate will not be considered. Under the Rotating Frame, a gear box shall be implemented. The gearbox shall have a right angle with a straight shaft pointing upwards (towards the bottom plate). The gearbox shall spin the container along its own y-axis. The gearbox shall be connected to a motor located on the back of the mixing unit. The gearbox shall not be connected to the Base of the Metal Outer Frame to allow for proper gyration. Units with welded/connected gearboxes will not be considered. A Main Drive shall be located behind the Rotating Frame but shall still be cover by the Metal Outer Frame of the unit. The Main Drive shall have a 3-gear shaft that connects to a mount that houses a gearbox and gear. The gearbox shall have a right-angle speed reducer. A motor shall be located on top of the gearbox that shall provide power to the unit. The mechanism shall rotate the entire container at a 360 degree, counter-clockwise fashion when facing the unit. This will allow for the entire container to be mixed in an end-over-end process. Units without this feature shall not be considered.
