Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Agreement is to set forth the terms and conditions under which the Contractor agrees to provide the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) repair and maintenance services of its Traffic Operations System Network (TOSNET) Controlled Environmental Vault (CEV’s), Hubs or mini Hub cabinets, on an on-call basis, as determined by Caltrans. A. TRAC Work Ticketing System: All reporting will be done through the Caltrans TRAC Work Ticketing System, with an available remote access via a secure Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection. Workers are added to the TRAC using the ADM2025P/ADM3028 form. With Contractor concurrence, Contract Manager may designate Contractor employee for TRAC system training at the expense of Caltrans. Caltrans will schedule a two-hour training which is billable under this contract. B. Service Request and TRAC: A request may initially be made verbally, via text message, or via email or fax and will include the basic information of a TRAC ticket information: date, location, description of the problem and contact information. This will be immediately followed with a creation of a TRAC ticket. A Caltrans representative creates a service request as a TRAC ticket and assigns it to the DTM. Upon review, the DTM may then reassign the ticket to the Contractor. The ticket will include requesters name, creation date/time, priority (emergency, on-call or preventive maintenance), element type, location (co/route/pm) and problem. The system will notify the Contractor via email that a ticket is awaiting the TRAC. In emergencies, DTM may notify the contractor directly or via telephone whereupon a ticket will be generated.
