Specifications include, but are not limited to: The chosen operator will be expected to do the following: 1. Operate the café from the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Longer hours are available if the operator believes this will be profitable. 2. Be available to work special events at the Community Center or allow another party access to the café for special events. 3. Secure all necessary permits and licenses to operate. 4. Hire employees as needed to operate the café. 5. Provide proof of worker’s compensation and liability insurance in amounts to be approved by the City. 6. Furnish any necessary equipment beyond what is provided in Exhibit “B.” Said equipment will be owned or leased by the operator. 7. Provide a list of menu options and pricing. 8. Keep café area clean and sanitary. 9. If the City believes this to be beneficial, secure a permit from the Alcohol and Beverage Control Board (ABC) to serve beer and wine. 10. Pay rent in a timely fashion.
