Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Citrus Heights (City) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide professional services for the development of a Multi Modal Transportation Safety Program. This project is funded by a Caltrans Sustainable Communities grant. The proposed Program will identify treatments, resident complaint guidelines and a methodology to evaluate, prioritize and implement countermeasures. Fifteen years of existing traffic safety data, collision trends, traffic patterns and feedback received through robust community engagement will inform the process. The Program will be founded on Complete Streets principles, with Sustainable Communities Strategy guidelines shaping the final product. After development and approval of the Program, a backlog of resident requests will be analyzed utilizing the Program’s ranking system to develop a list of the highest priority projects to continue through the Program to seek funding for implementation.
