Specifications include, but are not limited to: The provider must offer a robust, interactive, reliable, high-speed system, vendorhosted, automated communication system with the following features: • Ability to deliver emergency notifications by voice, text and/or email to all types of devices. • A user-friendly process to issue alerts over multiple protocols and devices and capable of issuing Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS) Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA). • Ability to send messages to contact groups. • Ability to allow the message recipients to select options for additional information or clarification. • Technology for the visual or hearing impaired to receive notifications. Training for City staff on system use and ongoing system support is also required
