Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor will perform the following tasks on an as-needed basis for SMUD and its related joint powers authorities: A. Review of Proposals: Evaluate derivative proposals presented by SMUD’s underwriters and others. B. Derivatives: Provide structuring and pricing services for derivative transactions, including swaps. C. Communication: Provide written reports as required to support recommendations and, when necessary, present information to executive management and the Board of Directors. D. Regulatory: Act as designated Qualified Independent Representative (QIR) for SMUD interest rate swaps. E. Other: Swap advisory matters as requested by SMUD. F. Negotiation Services: Provide support, within their area of expertise, in negotiating and executing ISDAs, schedules, credit support annexes, and confirms as it relates to interest rate swaps.
